 The ECO2 Project wins the “small business” category!
The entire ECO2 project team is proud to announce that our initiative has won the Circular Economy Initiative Award (small business category) presented by RECYC-QUÉBEC and Québec Circulaire! Among 90 other applications, the ECO2 project was selected among the best circular economy initiatives in Quebec. The Government of Quebec awards $2 million to the ECO2 Magnesia project For a key engineering step leading towards the construction of a factory that will produce the world's first green magnesium oxide. Québec City, June 18, 2021 – As part of the 25 initiatives selected by the Government of Quebec following the call for innovation and clean technology projects, ECO2 Magnesia is proud to announce it has received a financial grant. The company is awarded $2 million for its mine tailings revalorization project that will create the world's first ecological magnesium oxide while reducing CO2 emissions at the same time.
